Gospel Canarias Fest begins a new chapter in 2026 following the celebration of its 20th anniversary, reaffirming its commitment to promoting gospel and African American musical heritage as a powerful expression of culture, emotion, and human connection.

Established as one of Spain’s leading gospel festivals, the event has spent more than two decades bringing the spirit of gospel music to the islands of Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Palma, Lanzarote, La Gomera, and Fuerteventura. Through concerts, workshops, educational activities, and artist encounters, each edition has become a unique opportunity to celebrate music as a shared experience that inspires, unites, and uplifts.

Throughout its history, Gospel Canarias Fest has welcomed some of the most iconic names in international gospel, including the Chicago Mass Choir, Mississippi Mass Choir, Harlem Gospel Choir, South Carolina Gospel Singers, and the Soweto Gospel Choir, alongside outstanding artists and ensembles who have helped shape the festival’s unique identity and strengthen its bond with audiences across the Canary Islands.
