Gospel Canarias Fest celebrates its 20th edition in 2025, further establishing itself as one of Spain’s leading international gospel festivals and one of the most highly anticipated cultural events of the year in the Canary Islands.
For two decades, the festival has brought the power and spirit of gospel music to thousands of people across the islands of Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Palma, Lanzarote, La Gomera, and Fuerteventura. Its programme combines concerts, workshops, educational activities, and shared musical experiences that celebrate music as a source of inspiration, community, and joy.
Throughout its history, the festival has welcomed some of the most iconic names in American gospel—the true birthplace of the genre—including the Chicago Mass Choir, Mississippi Mass Choir, Harlem Gospel Choir, South Carolina Gospel Singers, and the Soweto Gospel Choir, alongside outstanding artists who have left their mark on successive editions, such as Brigitte Emaga, Naturally, Gospel Shine Voices, and Latonius.
For its 20th edition, the festival returns with renewed energy and an exciting new programme that will once again bring the very best of gospel music to some of the Canary Islands’ most emblematic venues. As always, the festival will bring together internationally acclaimed artists and local talent, preserving the open, inclusive, and deeply emotional spirit that has defined Gospel Canarias Fest since its very beginning.
